bbk or frpp 70mm T.B?

What are your mod's?

The FRPP doesn't come with a new TPS or any gaskets, but you can use your stock stuff and reattach it. The BBK/Edelbrock includes all that stuff new in the box.

The FRPP 65mm I have is of higher quality than the Edel/BBK that I also have, but that may not hold true for the FRPP 70mm.

I'd go with ford racing one. they are polished also for our year. Only downside is it's made in china so i question the quality...personally i dont use any bbk stuff. too many defects comes out of their facility.

BBK is not a bad product. IMHO nothing is as bad as MAC...I am slowly removing any and all mac products from my car. They just dont hold up well and look like poo in too short of a time. Just replaced my MAC o/r H for a catted BBK mid pipe. I hope to replace my mac shifter with a MGW when I upgrade to a astro/gforce setup. My pullies I may keep for a while since I cleaned them up and painted them.

As far as the T-body goes BBK and Eldb. are ok, they seem to have a hit or miss (atleast back in the day) issue with the blade rod hanging up.

Probably the worst t-body quality wise is the perf. products one.

I thought the biggest T-body one could get FMS wise was a 65mm for our years? Did they recently add the FMS 70mm to the lineup?

yes. Now they(FRPP) have added 65mm, 70mm, 75mm Polished version for CHEAP. And the CHEAP goes with quality too. I talked to some people at ford and they said it is made outside of U.S. which means china. May be they are made by professional products and just changed the name to FRPP....

Just like all the roush engine stuff came from BBK(throttle body, lower control arms, etc, etc,)

BBK and edelbrock throttle body are the same thing.

But still i'd Go with FRPP polished ones and take the chance may be...

I currently have Ford racing 65mm one too. May be get this one polished and call it a day:rolleyes:
