I am going to be moving to your area and was wondering what you guys need to do for emissions.

Do you have to run on rollers?
Tail pipe sniffer?
Visual inspection?
How bad are they at looking for the smog parts?

I'm currently in the Boise, ID area and they don't do the rollers but do look for the cats and do the tailpipe sniffer testing.

My car has passed everytime so far. It has all the smog on it and is running a Pypes catted X-pipe with an EO#.
I still have my original 4 catted H-pipe if needed.

I am looking forward to running at PIR and/or Woodburn.
See if there really is a big difference due to elevation.

they don;t run rollers at all. For your 95 they will do an idle and 2500rpm test if I remember correctly. They check for cats and obviously use their 4 gas analyzer.

If they think your car is loud they will do a noise test also.

Any particular reason for wed night? BTW you may not think your car is loud but when you are in a bay next to stock minivans and little hondas the stang is louder than ya think. haha I was tested for db level and they failed me because one pipe was slightly over and one was under the limit. Rumor has is that one can loosen up the tailpipes to lessen the emission levels and noise out the tailpipes...not saying ive done it or anything cough cough

Go to the DEQ in NE Portland. My car is as loud as you can get with no cats and it passed without any question. All the guy said to me is the car sounds great.

If you are running without CAT's &/or you think you are over the noise level I would go first thing on Tuesday morning. This is when they are the busiest because they are not open on Sunday or Monday. If they are busy they are less likely to want to slow things up and check for noise or do a visual inspections. My 01 passed 3 months ago at Sherwood DEQ with no CAT's, running very rich, very loud and a my stage 2 cam acting like it is going to stall. Idling for 15 minutes next to all the Hondas and Toyotas I thought I had no way of passing, but all they did was plug-in and look for error codes. The DEQ person who did my test just said; "it smells like it is running a little rich, but she sounded great."
