Beehive springs on our heads???

I got some advice last night about the LS1s springs being awesome even for our cars. I'm not doubting the guy's advice, I just want a second opinion. I need new rockers, 1.7s, lifters, and new springs. He said I could go up to 1.460 on the springs. He says these are better since they're titanium and can save some weight on the valve train. What do you guys think?

i had a set on my heads when i bought......i broke a rocker arm cause of the spring pressure........ so be careful what set you get.......I converted back to conventional style.....

Though I'm not against them I would not trust the same ones that the LS1 guys use on you're engine. LS1's use much lighter valvetrain than 5.0's do which allows them to get away with some pretty cool light stuff.

I would use this spring kit...

Bit improvement over stock and will handle most street type cams even with 1.7's. Very much overlooked but works great.
