Haha, I hear ya. I haven't actually paid for beer myself in a while (mostly been gifted to me) so it's all good.

The pilsner's not bad. Nothing terribly outstanding, but I wouldn't say no to it if offered again.

Got some Riding Easy from Oliver Brewing tonight...

It's a hoppy blonde ale. It is definitely hoppy, but seems a little cloudy for what I consider a blonde ( I usually think of blondes as more transparent rather than hazy, but that's just me). Its not bad, a bit hoppy for me so I may not go for it again. Though it won't stop me from finishing off this six-pack.

Yeah, it looks like a wheat beer.

This weekend's haul...

I had bought the Bavarian Lager myself to try and it was good. A little on the bitter side.

One of our guests brought a sixer of the Cold Snap...I've been wanting to get it but my local store still has the Winter Lager.

Another guest brought the New Belgium sampler and I've tried the 3 of 4 flavors in there (I already know what Fat Tire is like) and they're all good for what they are.

Visited a new brewery over the weekend. On Saturday, my girlfriend and I went over to MD's eastern shore...the trip started out as just having lunch, but then we popped into a few antique shops and along the way, I just "happened" to notice a new brewery that opened up there. It's called Cult Classic Brewing and they're based in Stevensville, MD. They just opened up some time last year but I've only heard about it more recently. They took over the space previously occupied by an Acme grocery store.

The beers were good! They had about a dozen or so beers available, all different varieties. We each got a different flight...she stuck with the lighter stuff and I tried a couple of my favorite styles as well as some I haven't tried (NE IPA, for example):

I tried the Winter Warmer as well and the ABV definitely came through.

Overall, it was a neat place with good beer. They had a projector screen with recliners, a nice long bar, lots of tables, some arcade games...served a few snack foods on-site but they did have a food truck in the side lot that we could go to, order bar-fare food, and those workers would bring it inside.

They just started and their distribution is limited to just 3 restaurants in the area. They did offer Crowlers and Growlers though.

We had a place similar to that here, with many great brews available. They did the "flights" to order also. Unfortunately they lost control of the Friday and Saturday night crowds, resulting in many police calls for fights and such. They closed about 6 months ago. Where's "Dalton" when ya need him?!

Maybe a little more fruit flavor than I’d like, but it’s pretty good!

Heading to the ME/NH border for a wedding this weekend. Hoping to find some good local brew while I’m there.

I had to buy this one simply because of two reasons, one, it's made by the Dead Armadillo Brewing company (I like the name) and b, it's named after where i live.

Blonde ale, it's nice. Nothing crazy good, but i can enjoy it..

Havnt gotten to any brewerys, but the hotel has a local IPA called Stoneface. It’s pretty good..... definitely on the citrus side, but has the hoppy flavor too.

Me Mum made some right tasty Irish Stew last night. The recipe called for a can of Guinness, so naturally I had to have one to properly enjoy the stew.
It was most excellent!

Had a setback in my wire tuck attempt (fusible link was broke). I’ll repair that tomorrow.
Tonight, I’ll drink a few of these, stare at my engine compartment, and come up with some more ideas of what needs to be done!!

I've seen that one, I really like Stone brewery. I've been off IPAs for awhile though. Maybe I should give it a go, you like it I'm guessing?

I think it’s my favorite IPA. I don’t mind the citrus ones, but I’m definitely more a fan of the hoppy ones, like this. And I got the case for $27, which is pretty good for 24 ipa!
