Local bottle shop had this the other day. It was really good. A lot like Jucifer by Gnarly Barley. I like IPAs, especially ones that don't kill it to much with overwhelming piney hop taste.

Heretic is solid ans the owner/brewmaster is a local legend. The brewery is enormous! The wife, dogs and I have spent many an hour in their taproom while picking up beer for the shop.

Maybe that’ll drop the price of it a little.

Price drop would be good. I hope the quality stays.

Not a beer again.

The bottle calls this one Doubleday Bourbon. It's made in Cooperstown NY, so not an official bourbon, at least bourbon style.

It's alright, and I'll eventually be able to finish the bottle. Not as smoky as say a Daniels or Beam, but pleasant enough.

I was looking to buy a more "value" style of bourbon today (if you understand what I'm saying, $40 in the pocket for booze). The bottle sold me. Lol, yep, I'm "that guy".

I don’t even drink much bourbon, and I want to go buy it for the bottle! Anything baseball..... I love it. Ommegang brewery up in Cooperstown makes some real good brews. Took a trip up last summer... real nice place to spend a day or two.

Love that bottle! I don't know if you've tried Eagle Rare 12 year, but it's an outstanding bourbon in the $40 and under range. Also, there's no requirement for bourbon to be made in Kentucky, so it likely is actual bourbon. Assuming it meets the requirements.

I have "part of a shelf" in the fridge for my beers these days, so I can only keep 3 at a time in there. Forgot to stock the shelf before I left for work, and there weren't any in the fridge when I got home. The stock is kept in the garage, so... not real chilly out there right now...
The real question is... Am I gonna have another kinda-warm beer now, since it's only 10:30?
Why... Yes! Yes I am!

I have never drank alcoholic beverages, plus being celiac, I could not drink beer if I wanted anyway, but I thought this was appropriate for this thread and funny.

I’m usually not crazy about the wheat beers, but I bought a New Belgium variety pack, and this one is not bad! Their Voodoo Ranger IPA’s are tasty as well.

The wifey brought me home a beer from her travels. Reasonably hoppy amber lager. Not getting many east coast beers here in Hawaii.
Claims to be from oldest brewery in America. Yummy!

All I need is a pint a day, ......well maybe 2 pints a day......or 3......

Thats pretty good stuff. I like it! It is the oldest continually operated brewery in the country. They managed to keep the brewery open through prohibition.

Good taste, and less than $20 for a case (at the warehouse clubs)

I like Yuengling too! The Lager is good, and so is the Black and Tan.

* BTW, searched Bing for Images of "Yuengling Black and Tan" and got some other... "interesting" results.
