This was wonderful! I got to figure out how to get more of these.

It really tastes similar to a Barley Wine. I don’t know if it’s just the alcohol level. It’s creamy thick like one though.

Man Nick! :nice:I don’t know if i would be able to part with one of these like you did!:uzi:

Do I have to come paint your car now? lol:rlaugh:

I've been enjoying a Bell's Christmas Ale - Scotch Ale this week. I don't think I've seen a Christmas Ale labeled as a Scotch Ale before?
Anyway, it's quite good! I'll have to get a six-pack of this and S.A. Winter Lager and have a taste-test, to see how they compare.
All in the name of Science, naturally. ;)

Been quiet on the beer front (and stang front for that matter) lately. Hell at work with holidays coming up, but I’ve got the next three days off, so I will indulge a bit tonight! Picked up an assorted case from Stone. Here’s number one:

I like the IPA’s, and this one is pretty good with a hoppy bite.

Number two:

This is an IPA, but not one I’d buy on its own. ABV @ 6.7 makes it nice, but the Tangerine/Pineapple combo isn’t doing it for me.

It seems like all the variety packs always include that one flavor that failed all the taste-tests, and they know this is the only way they'll ever get rid of the back-stock. ;)

Tangerine-Pinapple beer?! I hope that guy got fired. :O_o:
Kidding... kinda.

So I have a new Holiday favorite... Great Lakes Brewing Christmas Ale! Brewed with Honey, Cinnamon and Ginger.
Even I can taste the flavors in this one, so they may be a bit strong for people with a better sense of taste. :D
The Cinnamon is especially nice.
