Another one that I really like. Very traditional IS flavor. The whole chocolate milk thing refers to some milk sugars added. Really nice.

Boiled eggs as a side just because......

Gonna try this one first, it’s a stout aged in a bourbon barrel. 13.8% abv!

Oh my!

This was wonderful! I got to figure out how to get more of these.

It really tastes similar to a Barley Wine. I don’t know if it’s just the alcohol level. It’s creamy thick like one though.

Man Nick! I don’t know if i would be able to part with one of these like you did!

Do I have to come paint your car now? lol

I've been enjoying a Bell's Christmas Ale - Scotch Ale this week. I don't think I've seen a Christmas Ale labeled as a Scotch Ale before?
Anyway, it's quite good! I'll have to get a six-pack of this and S.A. Winter Lager and have a taste-test, to see how they compare.
All in the name of Science, naturally.

Founder‘s came out with an Imperial Stout!

It’s exactly what i like about an IS. Look at that beautiful chocolate head.

It has all the usual IS flavors, coffee-ish note, chocolate too.

Its just all done with grains and hops though, as God intended.

Been quiet on the beer front (and stang front for that matter) lately. Hell at work with holidays coming up, but I’ve got the next three days off, so I will indulge a bit tonight! Picked up an assorted case from Stone. Here’s number one:

I like the IPA’s, and this one is pretty good with a hoppy bite.

Number two:

This is an IPA, but not one I’d buy on its own. ABV @ 6.7 makes it nice, but the Tangerine/Pineapple combo isn’t doing it for me.

It seems like all the variety packs always include that one flavor that failed all the taste-tests, and they know this is the only way they'll ever get rid of the back-stock.

Tangerine-Pinapple beer?! I hope that guy got fired.

So I have a new Holiday favorite... Great Lakes Brewing Christmas Ale! Brewed with Honey, Cinnamon and Ginger.
Even I can taste the flavors in this one, so they may be a bit strong for people with a better sense of taste.
The Cinnamon is especially nice.
