Beers Of Stangnet

I was going to correct myself ironically, lol.

A scotch ale? I was going to correct myself to say a barley wine. Sure tastes like one and has the kick of one too.

I believe you, but i sure wouldn't have guessed an SA.

Dirty Bastard is a scotch ale, if that's what you're meaning.

I get confused easily.

Yeah, it's the BA version of Dirty. Though I doubt that the Bourbon barrels add much more than a few tenths of a percent ABV, so I'm guessing the beer itself is an "imperial" version. If I ever run into our Founders rep, I'll ask.

Agreed that style-wise, it's definitely closer to an English barleywine than an imperial stout, but there's no mistaking the malt bill of a scotch ale!

I had a Corona today!

Exciting, yes?

Ok, so maybe I added a shot of tequila to it.......

EXCELLENT mix, you really should try it. Still have the lighter beer flavor that’s nice on a really hot day, plus a nice tequila flavor with it.

I’ve seen them offering “loaded Coronas” at some of the bars here and there. They’ll get you to spend your money twice as fast! Lol

So this is not something I’d pick, but I had a party on the 4th, and plenty of people brought some beer, so I have quite a mix available right now.
I figured while I’m practicing with my new welder, I’ll stay with the lighter stuff. Plus this is a local Long Island beer, so I’ll give it some exposure. This one is “ok”. Their Wave Chaser IPA is real good!!

Tried a couple of different beers this weekend.

First off was this.

Not bad, but I'm not a huge fan of banana. The misses picked up a six pack so I had to try one.

Then there was this.

It wasn't too sweet. I really liked it. I wouldn't want to sit down and try to murder a case of them, but it was a little tangy and light. Easy drinking beer if you dont mind a little peach flavor thrown in there.

Are any of you guys on Untaped?
