Dont tell me a custom unit, I dont have the funds for it, I want a reliable 6k cam, that has good driveabilty. I will have some gt40's or some 69 heads with this as well and my custom intake thats been tried and trued.

To truly get the best oout of your particular combo, (or anyone's forthat matter) a custom is the way to go.

A decent OTS street cam would be the E303 or the TFS Stage 1.

When I do it over, it will deff. be a custom.

TFS Stage 1 for GT40 heads. X303's aren't bad with those either.

Don't overlook the comp XE cams..my XE270hr-12 is very computer friendly, gets attention, and gets things MOVIN.

Right along those lines, I just got done building an h/c/i 302 with the comp xe-266, and I absolutely love it. It's definitely a bit softer below 2,000 rpm, but once you hit 2500 rpm, hold on

Custom....I know what it's like to try and save what you can but for a 100-150 more...it's worth every dime. Couldn't have been happier any other way.
