Best Cam

I am getting ready to rebuild my engine and I want to know what is the best cam to get with my combo. I am going to leave it a 302 and I am going to use the stock piston. I have AFR 165 heads with a Edelbrock performer 2 intake. I was thinking of getting a E303 or a B303. I heard at the F303 will not work with the stock setup. What would be the best cam for around 250.00 in price? I even wouldn't mind a different brand if it is better than the Ford Racing Cams.

The TFS-1 cam would work well, and only costs about $150, unless they have gone up in price. Comp also offers some nice stuff; the XE-270HR would probably be a good one for you, (assuming you have a 5-speed) but is a little pricier.

Why not spend another $100 and talk to Ed Curtis from www.flowtechinduction.com , he does alot of customs for AFR and TW heads. I have had 3, and was VERY happy with results.

the comp cams seem to be pretty good

but the early low,mid range tourqe of custom cams are impressive
