best degreaser to use

Hey guys,
I need to find something to remove this thick gunk on the engine it needs to be non toxic though maybe simple green? its real thick gunk with oil someone forgot to reinstall 4 oilpan bolts on the new long block I picked up...any help or comments would be great.

I've been using Seafoam Deep Creep for my project. It's not the cheapest, but it works very well. A toothbrush and some elbow grese made a big difference:

The only reason I used a brush rather than some water pressure was because I din't know if it would leave marks on my driveway

Thanx guys..I tried using my mother in-laws steam cleaner and GUNK engine brite but it didnt work for crap...I guess i'll try the castrol I have heard that stuff works real good
