did you remove one of the studs and replace or remove a spacer from that side? if not you probably can't get anything to seal up. I really don't think this is a quality problem.

I just installed my prochamber....it wasn't the easiest to get lined up and i may have a small leak at the passenger side header. That's my fault because i didn't buy an new gasket . I have seen a shop in stall a magnaflow x w/ cats and it went in like clockwork and fitment was good.

I've got the UPR X also, and have the same leak. I only notice under WOT and between shifts though, so it's really hard to find. I'm tempted to just spend the money of LT's... just didn't want to do that right now...

No leaks with my Bassani X. Had a shop install it for me because I bought it from them and you know "since I'm here." They installed it in 15mins. That has to be a record or something.

Hye 99 RedGT: i had the same problem as you, my pass side seale dup fine but the driver side that is a ball and socket type fit, just wouldnt seal because BBK's cheap ass's couldnt flare the end of the pipe out enough to totaly seal up acuratly, but what i did to fix it was got the studs out, baught a pair of grade 8 bolts and nuts with washers, then just lined the holes up best i could and tighened it...its almost 97% sealed now versus like 70% before. just thought i would tell ya!

ryan

BTW, does anyone know who makes the most flared out driver side header-to- mid pipe peice?

I believe the magnaflow is a one piece pipe. Is your UPR bent or something? Mine dont leak and i reused the factiry gasket.

I was gonna say the same thing. All they did was jack up the front, unbolted the H, unplugged the 02's, put the X pipe together(3 piece Bassani), plugged in the MIL's, bolted up the X and 02's. Two people did it by the way with air tools.

No, everyone uses their cojones, swivels, and extensions. Get all of those and you'll be good to go.

Another vote for the Mustangtuning aka PYPES X-pipe. Over a year no problems.
