Best heads for 306 with JE pistons

wich are the best heads for a 306 with XE274HR cam, JE pistons flat top big valve releafs, typhoon intake (ported), maybe 30 pounders, 3.73 gears, T5 trans, 1 5/8 LT's. goin to the track al weekends with M/T drag radials 26''...
I WHANT POWER I WANT THE BEST OF THESE ENGINE!

see, you cant just say "what is the best head". you need to tell us what you plan on doing with the car and what type of usage your doing with it? street/strip? street racing or daily driver?

i would do afr 165 or trickflows.

Yeah I think 185s would be overkill for that car. I have ported Edelbrock heads on my 306 but I'd rather have the Trick Flow or AFRs on there.

The AFR185s will work great on this combo. I run the XE274HR with 185s on a 306 with flat tops. I recently changed from e cam and edelbrock 2.02 heads and the car picked up 2mph even though I also changed to a viper spec T56 which is approx 70 pounds heavier and robs 4-5% more power than the T5.
The only problem I have had is the car is flat on its face untill 3200rpm, this is very apparent because of the 2.66 first gear of the tranny with 3.73 gears, a set of 4.30s should help out with it.

i think you are looking at around 325- 350 rear wheel horse power.... and 12.50- 12.00 times depending on hooking up

To get 375 out of a street 306 you are going to need the absolute perfect combo. It's highly unlikely you'll be anywhere near it on your first try at a setup.

i'm with Mod2v likely between 325-350, but with box stock heads i'd say more towards the 325 mark.

I'm pretty sure it'll go low,low 12s and very much possible it could go 11s. 325whp, maybe a little bit more, but not much.

i whant to get low 12's i have 3.73 gears i'm a daily driver its ok? right now i have 19's inyectors but i have some 30's on my closet can i put it on with the heads? can i put 26x10 slicks for good lauches? any other recomendations for my car like timing base and max (cobra computer), plugs gap(stock ignition), RPM shift point, etc......
P.S i put the cam where it says with the degree disc from comp cams!
