right now i have stock headers, an off road h pope that doesn't fit worth a darn, and a flowmaster catback with 3 chamber flows in it. it sounds okay, id like a little more volume if anything.

im getting ready to go to a bbk catted h pipe which has two high flow cats in it. im going to start driving this car every day to work (30 miles each way) and to get some of that volume back id have to go to 2 chamber flows but them im afraid im going to get drone.

im okay to get new muffers and use the flowmaster catback too right? as long as the mufflers i get are same dimensions?

do all the 40-44 series drone?

what are my other options-magnaflow? dynomax?

I have the Flowmaster 2 chamber American Thunder and it's definitely louder than the 3 chamber but it does drone pretty good, seems worse to me with the hatch.

I have Bassani's right now on an o/r X-pipe and long tubes with no tailpipes. I've like to put tailpipes on it, drone isnt bad, but i've heard mufflers that sound better at lower rpm's but up top they are the best i've heard.

ill advised

I always preferred 3-chamber Delta Flows with my old shorty header/hpipe set-up. It won't scream like the 2-chambers but in everyday driving I find it much more bearable.

Magnaflows. Least amount of drone I've ever heard, yet loudest bark at WOT at the same time.

What kinda magna flows? Do they have different chambering options or just different sizes?

they have all sorts of options from small race style mufflers to more I guess normal style which are like 8x11.

here are some examples:

magnaflows are very tame at cruising speeds, but sound awesome at WOT
