Best oil for 96 GT

Hey guys, i'm getting ready to change the oil in my car for the first time since i got it. I was wondering what you guys recommend as best for a 4.6 2v for the winter, and should i go with something thicker next spring/summer? Thanks for your time.

I assume that the temperatures are pretty much the same since NC isn't too far away from my state, GA. I would just stick with Mobil 1 5w-30 all year.
