best street/performance brake pads???

I'm looking for front pads for my 97 Cobra and Cobra equipted 89 Saleen. I'd like something fairly rotor friendly for HPDE events and track days, plus good cold braking. My wife drives like a maniac, and has no comprehension of pedal modulation. My stock pads barely make it through HPDE events.
Anyone got a magic bullet???

Hawk HPS for street. For track use either the HP plus or Blacks. For serious racing Blues.

easy to get and good pads are the ceramix at any NAPA they are a carbon ceramic compound very tough, good stopping, no dusting on your rims and no sqeaking. I,m 100% happy
