I have an '88 GT Vert and like almost all the rest, my seats were crap. I managed to get a pair from a '97 GT (black leather- good lookin' ) and they bolted right in (with a little wiring modification) and work perfectly. Great price too! ($90/pr) My question is that since this donor '97 GT was in an accident the windows were blown out and the leather was kinda dry/harsh feeling. I've been using Meguiar's 2 in 1 cleaner/conditioner but it doesnt seem to help too much. I've had these seats since March and they haven't gotten softer after MANY applications. I'm trying the Zymol (sp?) conditioner too right now, and the meguire's leather wipes- anything to soften them up a bit. The driver's side isn't bad. It was still protected in the yard- just the passenger side needs love. Anyway what do you suggest? ANy way to re-soften this leather or am I stuck with a tough seat?
