BF Goodrich KDWS or Nitto 555 radials?

HELP!!!! I just called discount to order my Nitto 555 radials and I was all excited till the guy I talked to said he could get me the BFG's for only $40 more for the set of four. I've heard good things about both tires and wanted everyones opinions. I like the looks of the Nitto a lot better...but I really want performance for the street out of them. They won't see snow, so I don't care about snow grip. I've heard that the BFG's are overrated for wear, so I think they are probably the same...please help me out. I want to call them back today or tommorrow and order whichever I want. Thanks!

If they dont see snow, you can go for the KDW. I have the KDWS and the things hook no matter what. It snowed here last weekend, roads were wet but not snowy and they hooked good. I am on my second set of these and wear is pretty good as long as you are religious about rotate and have a good alignment. I got ~34k out of the first set and have 10k and the second set and you can barely see any wear. Now $40 more? I got my KDWS for $125 ea +tax out the door. That is only $8 more than the 555 Extreme. Personally I would go with the BFG.

Thats a scam!!! The Nitto's 555r's are at the same prices as the BFG Drag Radials. Get the Nittos

i have great trust on Nitto's. look great, reasonabl price, and last long time.

Don't know much about KDW. So I say go with 555

I have the G force KDW and they are pretty good. the have good grip in the rain but don't hook worth **** in cold weather. they were also really expensive when i got them from discount but the prices went way down now. they also look pretty good and are always seen on roush's and saleens so thats a plus.

I have the BFG KDWS and have mixed feelings about them. Sometimes they hook, other times they spin like crazy. One things for sure, they stick like glue when you corner. They've only been on for about 1K miles, so maybe the new is still comming off. I only got 18K out of the stock eagles. BFG are made by Michellin . Who knows where the hell the nittos are made.

I forgot to mention that the KDW needs to get some heat in them. They feel really squirelly when cold. So when the weather is colder, it just takes a little longer....

Is the cold traction KDW better than the stock GT tires though?

To be honest, I never had the GY's since I had my car. When I went to buy it, those were toast so I made it part of the deal to put on new tires, and that is what they put on. I would think the GY's would be better because those definitely are traction only tires. But my KDWS heat up enough in 4 miles, about the distance to the highway. They are squirelly to that point but fine afterwards.
