Bigger Nittos Possible?

I currently have the NT555s on my car, 255x45x17 up front and 285x40x17 on the rear. The rear rims are 10.5s and I emailed Nitto to see if they plan on creating a larger tire than 285s that are NON Drag Radials. They do not have that in plan right now but I am curious of who else is interested in bigger tires that are Non Drag Radials. If you would like to see some bigger tires offered, then please email Nitto and show the support. I am posting this thread to start an email chain to Nitto or any other tire company to see if we can't show the market demand for bigger non Drag Radials. Is there anybody out there besides me that would like to see these tires offered? I personally enjoy the mileage I get out of the NT 555s

hey good luck with that! why not just try another brand? I used nitto's for a couple years and they are ok. They suck in the rain!!!! i switched to goodyear eagle F1's and they are way superior in wet and dry conditions.

I have researched and have not found a brand that makes tires bigger than 275 that isnt a Drag Radial. I am hoping tire companies might decide to make some 305s or right around there in a more street oriented tread than a drag racing tread. Personally, I have not had a problem with Nittos in the rain, but I try to be extra cautious in the rain.
