Blew 2nd Gear?

I was leaving out and got down on the throttle went to shift into 2nd it grinded a little bit the just fell in to gear. After that It will not go into 1st or 2nd but hits the other gears fine. I had to drive home only using 3-5th.

My question is, what does it sould like to you happened?

Will the dealer fix this under warrenty? Car has 31000 miles and warrenty doesnt expire until August 27th?

Only mods are K&N FIPK, borla xr-1 weld-in and UPR offroad X.
I am going to remove the O/R X before I go.

Do you think I will have a problem getting them to fix it?

Oh sorry, my car is a 2001 Cobra

I don't know why the dealership would not repair under warranty. As long
as you didn't do any mods to the tranni I would think it would be covered. As far as what happened, I don't have the slightest

I talked to them yesterday afternoon and they said I will be getting a Factory fresh new tranny! I feel relieved..lol

well looks like im in the same boat my warranty is up next month and just last week my tranny went same exact thing 1st and 2nd how long did they tell you till you will get the new tranny....just curious i still have to pull a couple things off my car for i take it in
