Blower vs engine question

Hi, i have a 2000 GT with a SOHC engine with 90k miles. A buddy of mine is selling his 2004 cobra stock blower kit for a grand, and i was wondering if its possible to fit that blower on my car. Not only that but will it run decently on my car, im not looking for an insane hp boost but just a little extra horse. Also, my engine is fully tuned with steeda cold air intake and flowmaster mufflers.

i doubt itll fit cause hes got 16 intake ports in his head, and you have 8....and the distance from head to head where the intake manifold mounts will me different cause the profile of the head is different(4valve is wider than 2 valve)

no..... it gets too expensive to get all the parts to make it fit and work properly too much money period

well, it actually has 8 intake ports. and no it wont fit without extensive modification, in the end it will be cheaper for you to just buy a blower that is designed for your car.

that blower won't fit. Plus your motor has high mileage. I would rebuild the motor and go with forged sh1t...

No and he won't get a grand either...those things are all over ebay etc for as low as 200 cause they are wothless. I have wondered if one could be mated to a 2V Saleen lower intake.

They are not worthless if you have a 4v just for a 2v.

Problem is most of these guys are just selling the blower unit and not the entire assembly. So even if you have a 4V you will need to track down a lower intake assembly to mount it to. That is why they are considered worthless!

There should be a sign on here that reads, "Welcome to the 2v Forums, and no, the Cobra blower will not fit our cars!!!"

This gets asked once a day at least.
