Why is this thread so quiet when the Patriots lose?

B/c I was not on stanget at all yesterday, check my account :D

That was a rough game and hard fought for both teams. Patriots definetly made some mistakes that could have changed the outcome. Like not allowing denver to drive and score at the end and if Brady had hit that pass to Moss in the endzone at the begining or the one later on to welker where there was nothing in front of him but clear skies, he would have been gone for 6. But it is what it is.....Wilfork should have called heads...

Go Bengals again!

Bengals are on a roll. Whats up with that?

As for my Browns, that was by far the sorriest/ugliest/pitiful game I had watched. Yes, we won, thanks to Parrish screwing up a punt but still. Anderson finished that game 2-17, 23 yards, 1 INT..........WTF. QB ratings was 15.5 :nonono::nonono: We get rid of Edwards, and still had 7 dropped balls. Royal had a sure TD.....but he dropped it. :nonono:

I was more excited about there loss to the bengals than this win. Atleast with the Bengals they scored more than 9 points and showed huge improvement all around and now this :nonono::notnice::fuss::bang:

:rlaugh:

And Quinn isn't getting to play because why again? Sheesh.

I didn't watch the Browns-Bills game but it sounds like a snoozefest.

The Steelers just barely beat the Lions  thanks to three straight sacks at the end of the game. I didn't watch the whole game, but the former superbowl champs barely beating a 1-3 team is pretty sad.

THe thing is they are scoring. THey are jumping out to big leads but these short passes that turn into 15 yards here, 25 there, will kill anyone. At least they are in it. One win and Cinci loss and they would techinicly be 1/2 game back. But right the hell in it.

Bengals aren't looking too bad. Playing much better than they did the last few seasons.....but still not what I feel they are capable of. They have a lot of talent on their team and rarely do all the pieces seem to come together for them like they should. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going, but they're going to have to stop this final 2 minutes winning crap! :fuss:

Better than 2 minute loosing crap :fuss: (Steelers)

Why is this thread so quiet when the Patriots lose?

this thread has not been as active as the last few years.. nothing really big has happened.. in 07 we had spygate and 18-1 last year we had the brady injury so for two seasons the NFL thread was pretty much patriot talk..

this year it's not patriot 24/7 talk and I am happy about that.

about the game sunday.. I thought belichick got to conservative in the second half.. more misfires.. wrong routes, confusion and overthrows.. As jaws said in week one it's going to take time.. may even take a few more games for them to start really clicking.

Broncos played a good game and the patriots offense just does not look in sync yet.. it's ok.. I rather them be so so now and peak later.. in 07 they peaked early and were flat by the end of the year..

Who knows maybe they will never get on track... but there is a lot of football left to be played only time will tell

Anyone watch last nights game? that was a heck of a game. Glad to see the Fins pull out with the win. The way they run the wildcat is unbelievable. It works so good for them and love to watch it. You don't know who is going to be lied up at QB. they ran it 4 or 5 times in a row with Brown lined up as QB, poor Heene was sitting on the side line for those plats, lol.
