Body swap on 17 GT convertible

Anything can be done if you have enough money to do it, if you have the skills and tools you can do a lot of the work yourself and save a ton of money. The easiest and cheapest way would be acquire a 67 convertible put on the Eleanor body kit, and then put it a modern driveline, suspension, and brakes. But to body swap a 67 vert shell onto a modern chassis is a lot of work. There is a guy on another mustang forum who took a 2006 mustang shell, put in a 2018 dash and all the wiring and a 2018+ 10R80 auto trans and a godzilla engine out of a 2020+ superduty. Ho took his time and did everything himself and it all works like ford built the car. BTW he wanted the 10 speed auto and there is no aftermarket controller for that trans so he had to run a 2018+ mustang computer just to control that trans, that computer also was designed to run a gen 3 coyote, not a godzilla but he custom tuned it himself to make a coyote ECU run a godzilla.
