I've been all over the www looking for the best place to install my vacume line for my new boost gauge. From what I have found vortech recommends along with others that in our fox setup the supercharger vacume lines or related lines such as the B/R port on the firewall vac tree is a good choice. This is the free port that my vortech FMU is connected.

However my new intake had two available pretapped ports just behind the TB(one on each side). Is this a better choice than teeing into existing vacume lines? And please include your why.

Ok thx. Wasn't sure if one spot was better than another. If they all see same vacume no matter which source I choose then that's the answer I was looking for. I can just make it easy on myself and choose best looking and easiest location.

ARP. The best. But ironically I was just admiring these for my headers. If I find them in 1" length I may replace my ARP header bolts.
