hey guys i am having a little problum. i am runninf a 86 TC motor in my 88 lx.
i went with a valvo intercooler so i have a pipe running from the turbo to the front of the car. well when i get it to it the pipe blows off the 90 degree boot that connects it to the turbo. i need help getting the pipe to stay put.

what kind of clamp are you using and what kind of tubing...

t-bolt clamps are good if its stainless pipe if its not you might crush it. just an idea... the 90 degree elbow could also be causing the problem too. airflow does some wierd things when its routed in a 90 degree if you can soften the 90 degrees. add a couple bends before the throttle body.

im assuming you dont have a bead/lip on the end of your I/C pipe.If not there is nothing you can do i didnt have a lip on mine and was useing 3 T-Bolt clamps with no luck.

Make a little lip on the side that's coming off with some jb weld, 2 part epoxy, etc....or put some glue on it. T bolt style clamps always help as well...and a good connector, not a cheap rubber one with no reinforcement.
