Boosted's Project For The Day Thread

In other news, the first dealership I thought I had to give up on called about two hours ago to tell me they were leaving for San Antonio to pick up my car on dealer trade. Should be here late this eve or tomorrow morning. I'm betting they stay the night in San Antone and hit the riverwalk and come back hung over tomorrow.

Get the car yet?

Bam!

My salesman shot me this pic. I got the papers signed after dark. I'll take pics of her when the sun comes up. I LOVE DRIVING THIS CAR!!!!

How close is that color to your son's car?

Beautiful car Allen, congratulations!:rock::banana:

Pretty close. I'll have to park them next to each other, though.

Thanks, buddy!:)

I gotta say, I owe @hoopty5.0 a big Thanks for sending me to his buddy at Auto Nation Ford in Katy, Tx. Chris Lok hooked me up. Great deal, and great guy to deal with!!

What in the bloody blue blazes is happening here?.....

I just got one word for all of you "converts."

Stepford.

How many does that make now?

Iowa Nick= 1
Texas Collin = 2
Texas Allen = 3

Who am I missing?....C'mon converts,.. you can chime in here. How many other cases of hot rod in a box do we have here that have'nt announced their fellowship in the "500.00 a month shortcut to 421 HP club"?

Well?.....

One time "against policy" statement..... Congrats on the new car, Allen. love that blue.

@madmike1157

Thanks Mike. Haha.. I totally get the conformity stance, but my idea of a hotrod is much more power. This was me buying a new dd that doesn't hurt to drive (best excuse ever-bad back) and not wanting to drive a focus.

And the fact that I freakin love these new cars!:D

What a great machine!

Please ignore the crazy grass, the weather has not lent itself to lawncare down here..

See the 66 mustang 2+2 FB reference in the quarter sail?......I like the new tail lights better than any other version that has come out since 1969.

That color! :drool:If I get this '83, that's going to be it's new color.:nice:

I wanted DIB soooooo bad when I got my '14 GT but they made me such a killer deal on the gray one they had on the lot I was happy. And I've been away at the lake most of the past weekend and just catching up, looks great man, congrats and I call bulsh that you won't mod it at least a little. All I did to my GT was put the Roush 20x10 square setup, GT500 mufflers, UPR OR X pipe, and Bama tune on it and I love it for a daily.

YES. I get a nostalgia chub every time I look at it, even though it's completely futuristic. The cues are fantastic. It also has the 67-68 style turn signal indicators in the hood.

I really love the halo style tails in Collin's car..

But these are rapidly growing on me. Ask @hoopty5.0 how bright they are, lol!

P. S. Speaking of nostalgia, I was just telling Collin last night it reminds me of my old 70 looking out over that long hood. I love it.
