Bought 15" V6 Wheels For Track What Tires?

I bought my friends 15" Wheels off of his 01 V6 Mustang and want to put drag slicks on two of them. My other friend is going to get the other two. Should I put mickey thompson Slicks or who?? and how big and wide can i put on the rim?

Nickthegenius was running 275/50/R15 on his.

I have a set of 99 v6 rims I might mount with that size (BFG DR).

If you are going to use those the 15s for the track only why don't you run regular slicks. Why run a DOT approved tire.

wow that is a LARGE tire to fit on a 7 inch wide rim.. did he have any cupping problems? if the rim is to narrow you will either have the tire cup so only the middle is on the ground with higher presure or concave with low presure where the middle is off and the edges are taking the abuse.

Yea, I was wondering how the contact patch was laying down especially at lower PSI.

I understand the idea is a larger sidewall to flex, but even then the whole thing is bowing in. Definitely wouldn't want to take them on the street.
