Hey Derek, I just did the same thing to my car.

Royal purple made a BIG difference, I love it. Check your owners manual...we have different trannys. I used about 3.5 bottles. I put in all 4 but after spillage and unused in the bottom, I called it 3.5.

Check manual on rearend...I have royal purple back there too.

Run some sea foam through it definatly. Cleans up the idle and smoothness alot.

I put in some watter wetter...little difference but I reccomend it. Makes your coolant a cool orange colour....not sissy boy purple

And DEFINATLY clean your MAF. I used some quick drying eletracal contact cleaner the other day on my MAF. WOW made a nice difference in how smooth the car is, starts better...idle doesnt surf as much and the low RPM bucking was reduced durastically.

Didnt change plugs (done about 15K ago)

Didnt change fuel filter (done never haha)

Good luck and you will like your car better afterwards .

hey Cody, what kinda plugs did you use? stockers? and Ford recommends the fuel filter changed at 30k miles, so im about 14k miles overdue. totally forgot about the seafoam. i guess i could run that stuff through again. its been ~10k miles, couldnt hurt. thanks for the MAF cleaning idea. didnt think about that either.
as for the rearend, im just gonna go ahead and buy a stronger girdle, one with some drain plugs right in the front.
