Brake pedal sound

This might just be a ford thing but the brake pedal on my 2000 v6, when you press it down it makes a noise sounding like the cord is being pulled over something or to much? im not sure how to explain it, one of the ford 250 ambulances i use to drive at work did the same thing. thanks for all the help in advance.

Mine does it too, more of a crunching noise. It's fairly normal from opinion on this board.

yea if its like a crunching noise its just the friction from the brakes.. i wud like to suggest if u have any ladies in the car at red lights that u turn up the music in order to mask the sound

lol, Yeah i have the same problem on mine too, V6muscle00 thats good advice that i use my self...lol
