ok i have a 89 four cylinder parts car for my 79 and i was wondering if it owuld be worth my time to upgrade to the newer style master cylinder, cus the brakes on my 79 arent all the greatest, thanks in advance for the replies.

That 4 banger is a big POS for brake parts. Get a 94+ mustang and then start swapping those brake parts over.
