Brakes are very hard??.. just built new motor

i just built a motor with a cam could that be causing my brake pedal to be very hard to push?? and what can i do to fix that??

What cam did you use? What sort of vacuum do you have at an idle?

i used a trickflow stage 1 can and im not sure what vacuum i have at idle

Hmm. Cam isn't overly aggressive. See what vac. you've got.

i have a trickflow stg 1 cam and my pedal feel is fine. but still the cam does limit vac. i forgot what reading i got, but i know it's pretty low. you could put an extra vac canister with a check valve to capture more vacuum.
