Brakes

I have a 87 gt and i was wondering if there are any less expensive but effective ways to upgrade the brakes so they have more stopping power and dont fade so fast. i would like to do something like a scca track day and my brakes suck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

get some better performing brake pads that are specified to work with your kind of driving. Also, some steel brake lines, and maybe a proportioning valve? Thats the cheap stuff that I can think of.
