Hey folks, I searched and read that brass doesn't rust but may flex more and could pop out. Is there any truth to this? Does anyone have any real world experience? Engine will be out and I would like to make a decision. Cooling system will, of course, be properly maintained over time.

Unless you plan on running straight water it doesn't matter. With proper Antifreeze mixture neither will corrode.
