Love it when the big brown truck comes. He's scheduled to come see me tomorrow with some goodies as a matter of fact.

You are gonna love the beautiful sound of the idle with that TFS1 cam.

Some times I start mine up and just stand behind it and smile. LOL

Yeah they are the OEM chromed ones, not cheap chinese made ones. I have polished ones on there now.

I'm hoping for 320-330 rwhp when all is said and done. Will have it tuned and a chip at Thunder Autosports. I've known Steve for 20+ years and he's tuned a few KOTS cars.

Nah. They are fine. All EEC IV injectors are 11-18 ohms. mine are F1se-e9a 4 hole squirters EV1 style.

Ford 30lb injectors (high impedence) #s: E9SE, F1SE, F1SE-E1A (3.8SC and SuperCoupes)

I bought the SPT1 stage 2- firmest shift for a street car with stock converter and 2 piece input shaft. Got it new in the bag and box with the 2/3 accumulator, new governor, and gasket off a guy who never used it on the Corral with a new B&M plate trans cooler in the box for $250 shipped. Dan builds them for each car, so I made sure the sellers setup was similar to mine. Plus I have my stock one still and don't need to send it in for a core. I like the fact you can adjust the WOT shift point by simply dropping the pan and turning a screw on the side of the VB.

Haven't heard a bad thing from anyone who's put one in, and Dan took the time to speak to me for a good 20 minutes knowing that I wasn't buying a thing from him. He looked up the VB to make sure it would work for me.

I would have bought a new one if that deal hadn't come up. It's well worth the money IMO.

I think only injectors over 42# are low. Now though, they make high impedance injectors that are larger than 42#. I can't recall what site I was on when I saw that.

Basically injectors are classified into two categories.
1. High impedance/resistance (saturated) 11-18 Ohms. Most modern late model cars
2. Low impedance/resistance (peak & hold) 1-6 Ohms.
Saturated injectors require roughly 1-1.5 amps to open the injector. Peak & hold injectors initially needs about 4-6 amps, and once open drops to roughly 2-3 amps to keep it open. The ECU design will dictate the use of one or the other. Most late model cars including Fox Body Mustangs use saturated injectors. You can measure the ohms by putting a test lead on both electrical connectors.

Here's a decent site that explains a lot of it.

It's the majic fairy dust...lol.... Said I was hoping with a good tune for 320... if it's 300 then that's fine as dyno hp IMO is only an ego stroker anyway and for internet racers.
