Bucking/ Loss of Power After Hard Acceleration.

the gt will run fine around town, no problems there. it has smooth acceleration under almost all cases, but when i romp on it from a stop and take it through like 1st and 2nd directly after there will be bucking and a loss of power. its almost like i took my foot of the gas. it going away after about 30 sec's and if i give it more gas right after it starts then it wont buck....
i dont know what it could be because it runs really strong when your on it. i could run it all the way through 4th with out a loss.
any help is greatly appriciated.

fuel filter it stopped up

i would think something like that but i just got the carb re-built about 15000 miles ago, do you think it could go bad that fast? ill def look in to it tho.

Rebuilt carb don't really have nothing to do with the fuel filter. Was the filter replaced at the carb rebuild?

Bump! Same Issue here! I assume the fuel pump isn't holding pressure when shifting gears. Bad check valve on fuel pump? Its definitely fuel related I believe.

#1 I think this is a carb swap (does not matter, see #2)
