I'm pretty sure the springs are identical, both dropping .75". However, the mach 1 rear dampers are a little softer (ford wanted it to have a bit more weight transfer).

If you want great and noticable combo, go with H&R Super Race springs with Bilsteins.

From what I have heard, the mach1 drops you .5'' and the bullitt .75'', I think the bullitt suspension is a little stiffer.

they are the same from my research, the one marketed as the bullitt comes with the swaybars, while the one marketed as the mach1 has no swaybars.

everthing I have read on the springs is they drop .75 and the rates are identical.

I don't know if ther is enough wieght differnce between the 4v engine and the 2v eninge to make a drop difference. 200lbs would proably equal .25 inches. so the drop of the mach 1 could be less on a gt if the engine wieght was different.

with fords suspect spring tolerances though who knows. I hear all kind of varing drops from people on the B and C springs. either people don't know how to measure or they vary. I now my stock gt springs left the car at a different hieght at all four corners. I would not run the springs.

I wold get H&R. my car is the same hieght at all four corners now.

I know the shocks and struts are both made buy tokico but I don't know if there is any valving difference.

yeah my .02 would be if you want to go with one of those two choose the mach 1 setup as you don't really need the sway bars.

I suppose everyone ignored my post. they are the same kit. the bullit has the slight change of adding different swaybars, hence the cost, the mach1 uses the stock and standard GT sways. clear yet?

same shocks and same springs.... bullit package comes with sways.

If you look closer at that page you will see that just the bullitt kit with out the sway bar is over $400 as well. for some reason they sell the mach 1 shocks/struts/springs cheaper than the bullitt shocks/struts/springs. everybody is saying they are the same but ignoring the different part numbers. if they have different part numbers they are not manufactured at the same time nessesarily hence diffferent pricing.


if you start looking at the mach 1 shocks and struts coupled with the c-springs you may also look at the tokico hp kit on ebay.

the nice thing about a kit like this is you would hope that shocks and stuts are valved right for the springs they come with and they will have the limited lifetime waranty. the ford stuff will not carry that kind of waranty. If I were you I would buy this kit over the ford stuff. might cost you $50 more but if you have an shock or strut issue you will have waranty.
