Bullitt 10.5 Rear with 315/35/17s - Rubbing Issues?

I'm getting ready to buy some Bullitt 10.5 rims for the rear, and going with 315/35/17 tires. I've read various posts where the exhaust has to be moved in a bit and that the quad shocks have to be reversed in order to get the tires to fit without rubbing. Would this be true on a 2000GT with stock suspension and exhaust?

It depends on your tire rim combo. I had Verde 10.5's with 315 Nitto Dr's and had no rubbing issues whatsover. Now I have Wheel Replicas 10.5 with 315 BFG KA's and I have damaged my lip on the wheel well and cut the tires. I am fairly certain it is the tires as they are noticably wider than the Nittos.

I have 10.5 bullitts with nitto 315 dr's and don't rub at all. I think bc is right the nitto's run a bit narrower, but on a stock suspension I think you should be fine either way, I'm about an inch lower than a stock gt.

Where did you get you 10.5" Bullitt's from? How much are they each? Do they come in Characol or just Silver or Chrome?

I'd like to get a pair for mine.

Beware....285/40/17's in back and 255/45/17's in front with 17x9 front and 17x10.5 back in chrome weigh a grand total of 60 lbs more than my stock wheels/tires. That's bad.

I have 17X10.5 bullitts and 315 BFGoodrich...wich run small...so they are HUGE tires. No rubbing at all!

I have 03 AFS Cobra 10 1/2" with a pair of Nittos on a 2000 GT who has been lowered with a Pro-Kit and not rubbing what so ever.

I have 315 Nitto DRs on 10.5 AFS Cobra Replicas with no rubbing issues. The only thing I had to move was the emergency brake cable. It was way to close, but no issues after I moved it. Car has Bullitt suspension.

I have Wheel Replicas 17x9,17x10.5 with sumitomos 275 and 315's with Motorsport springs and a Flowmaster cat back. They have never rubbed on anything. I purchased the whole set from WR for $629.

I have 17x10.5 afs cobra R replicas with BFG 315 and H&R springs. It doesnt rub on the catback (SLP) but it's pretty close to the quad shock (like around 1")

I have the 17x10.5 bullitts on my 98 lowered with Eibach sportlines. The only time I had rubbing issues is when I had the Bassani catback on it. Now I am back to Flowmaster tailpipes with Flowpath mufflers. No rubbing anymore.

I have 18X10.5 and 285 Nitto 555. Lowered using Sportline. No issue whatsoever
