Well the wife was out of town with the kids this past weekend... so I took the chance to throw in the Bullitt dvd and crank it LOUD thru the chase scene. I wonder what mufflers were on that thing and what modern day mufflers might produce that same sound? Flowmaster 40's??
Actually, the sound of the real car shines through in a few spots where they forgot to overdub...outside his house is one of them IIRC. Gotta love the double-clutching and the 5spd though
