Ok. I think I found the cobra I want. It also happens to be the only one left around my area. The 03 Cobra I saw at the dealership fell through, they wanted $28,000 + tax/title/etc and wouldn't move on that price so i told them to go F-ck themselves.

The car i'm lookin @ is an 04 Cobra with 15k miles on it.

I have a few questions for you gu-ru's out there.

This 04 Cobra has upgraded 2.8 pullies running 14.5psi of boost. BUT has the STOCK injectors on the car. It was Dyno Tuned by JDM engineering here in Freehold, NJ. Personally I think the original owner (not the one who owns it now) used to race it. Which doesn't really bother me, I'm a mechanic with BMW and I enjoy modding/repairing my car. What DOES concern me is the hypothetical: blowing the motor up because the motor leans out while i'm driving it or racing it down at the 1/4 track.

1) What I wanted to know is how much boost are those stock injectors good for?

2) What # (lb.) are the stock injectors anyway? 36lb injectors?

3) Think I should have the car dyno tuned again right away so I KNOW the car is safe to drive, and not on some massive race tune. After all this cobra WILL be my DAILY DRIVER.

4) Can you even get stock pullies anywhere? I called FORD and they weren't able to even locate them, they think it comes ON the supercharger and not separately...

Heres the deal i'm looking @: 2004 Black Cobra 15k miles $27,000
- The car makes 475rwhp dyno tuned by JDM Engineering
- 2.8 pulley making 14.5lbs of boost
- stock injectors
- Full exhaust (SLP Long tubes / SLP X / SLP catback
- Steeda Short Shifter
- upgraded suspension struts/shocks
- Steeda Clutch Quadrant Adjuster

Yes I believe they are 36# injectors...and they probably are close to their limit, but I wouldnt let it bother me. All you need to do is throw it on a dyno ($65 generall) that does A/F....if it doesnt go lean, then your fine.

http://www.billetflow.com/supercharger_pulleys.htm

there is your stock size pulley (3.65). The OE pulley looks nasty, these billetflows look amazing. But be warned, if you pully "up" you WILL need another tune. Personally I wouldnt think about doing it...heck I would probably throw on a 2# lower on top of that after I did some serious cooling mods.

And last thing...dont do WOT high speed runs....and it should be A OK! Good luck and DEFINATLY BUY THAT BAD BOY!

I would do that just to make sure the car has a good AFR. I would put bigger injectors in there too, maybe a bigger fuel pump as well, just to be safe.

I'm sure you could find the pulley on ebay.
