Buying LCA's...What Factors to Consider.

Buddy of mine has the UPR U/L 200$ setup and loves them. I am kinda torn between the UPR 200$ set and the blue oval ind. on ebay for 13x$. I have a stock susp. but not stock 94 (bullit springs, gettings shocks and struts on when I do the U/L's). I have cut 1.9 60s on street tires on 100% factory 94 susp. so I am not worried about hitting my goal of a 1.7 with ET DR or streets. My car is just a fun driver to me, not looking to go TOO harsh.
.

My car will be for "fun" too, but with a 331 and Vortech, I dont quite think the stock CA's will do. A local friend of mine bought the UPR's with the Sherical bushings, but he is planning a 500+ HP car for the track. I think the stock poly bushing on the UPR's should be fine.

The buddies car has the poly bushings and he uses/used the car as a delivery car as his job was as a sales rep for pepsi mid america. So he drives enough to get annoyed with something if they had a funky spot/driving issue.

I am kinda leaning no to the UPR ones as I just read some not so good things about BOI...dunno though.

I put on the MM non-adjustable RLCAs and the FRPP RUCAs with new FRPP diff bushings for the UCAs. My stock stuff was pretty warn, but my experience with the new MM stuff is that NVH is actually reduced from before.

Not sure how your stock stuff has held up, but I'd not cheapen out on significant parts that will last for many years. Do it right the first time and move on to the next mod.

I've noticed a tremendous difference over the stock stuff and once I've gotten used to them for a few months. Money very well spent, IMO.

MM ain't cheap, but then again I'm not going to be looking at replacements for several years.

WEll, I look at it like this: (while agreeing with your point)
Ive had the stockers for 13 years, and they are not yet "bad" just want to upgrade...I drive the car less now, so Im pretty sure I will do alright with the UPR's judging from the experiences of people here.
Thanks

Sounds good to me. UPR is a very good brand from what I've heard too.

I bet when you get the new stuff in there that you're ride will actually improve and not get any worse IF you've still got all stock stuff in the rear.

Let us know what you find out.
