Alright im kind of a noob when it comes to wheel fitment. I was going to get some 18x9 saleen rims, 245 up front, 275 out back, what backspacing/offset will i need? im running the svo/lincoln five lug/disk set up, i know the center caps wont fit, that doesnt bother me.:SNSign:

why wouldnt the center caps fit?

Are you buying authentic saleens or fake saleens? There is a difference in offset between the two. The real saleens (18x9) have a 24mm offset upfront and a 12mm offset in back for the sn95 platform. I run authentic saleens and use 4 front (25mm) offset wheels at all 4 corners. The fakes are 24mm and are not front/rear specific.

im probably going to get fakes cuz theyre cheaper, so the 24mm offset will be fine?

You have the same train of thought as many other people ...... "buy the fakes because they are cheaper". The only thing that ever bothers me is people buying fake wheels, or overseas parts, and then complaining that american jobs are being outsourced. Yes, the 24mm will work fine.

If you don't mind having to possibly roll the fender lips then you should be able to run a 255/35 in front and 275/35 in rear. Assuming you have stock track width at all corners. And yes, mustang tuning wheels are fake - I believe made in China. Real Saleens will run about 1800-2000 for the wheels only. If your car is a daily driver I wouldn't get authentic saleens anyways.
