how hard is it? Im more than likely gonna try and tackle it like Wednesday. Is it something that a single person can do in like 5-6 hours?

Yea it took me about 3-4 hours to do my steedas. Just follow the directions, they will tell you what spacer configuration to use, etc... It helps to have someone to help line things up or hold things while you bolt them up like most projects, but it's not necessary. I did mine 95% alone, I just had someone pump the jack under the control arm while I guided the strut up through.
I dont have access to air tools at my house. But the only bolt that will be really hard will be the on on top of the strut right? Ill soak it in PB blaster before I start.

isnt there a slot on the shaft that you can stick a screwdriver into and pry while you use a wrench to turn the nut. Its always funner without air tools.
Im usually good at busting nuts when I have to......
Man, I thought this all ended with The Highlander's thread.
If you dont have the assistance of a device that can blow an air tool, you can manually get your nuts off.
Get a prybar that looks kinda like a big screwdriver. Insert it into the slit in the strut shaft, but have the prybar sitting parallel to the ground (giving you leverage to keep the strut from spinning. If you hold the prybar like a normal screwdriver, it will spin in your hand). Then use a wrench on the nut and it should come off.

Yeah, that nut is a PITA. I had one of those supersized screwdrivers that got destroyed when I held it in place with a vice-grips and tried to turn the nut with a wrench. After a couple seconds with an impact gun, it was off like nothin'.
