I am sure this question has been asked before but... I have a 1998 GT with Ford C springs and I have noticed a slight wear on my tires. I would like to purchase a set of C/C Plates but I am not sure what to go with 3 or 4 bolt?? What brands do you guys like? I have heard good things about Steeda , Pro3i and UPR.

Thanks

You shouldn't need C/C plates with the C springs

Check out the reviews section here:

I've heard a number of people talk about the spherical bearings going within 5000 miles on the Steeda CC plates. Personally, I'm going to go with the MM's when I do mine.

I put Maximum Motorsport units on mine, w/ the 4 bolts. Clearly very high-quality units, and the alignment guys were impressed at how much adjustments they provided.

the 4 bolt c/c plates are really good for coil overs and the three bolts are for non coil overs. I have the steeda ones and I liked them a lot. the adj. is going to be basically the same. and they all have a life time warranty on them so if one does happen to go bad you can send it back and get a new one to free. I personally haven't ever heard of one of the bearings go bad.

My Pro3i's seem to work great, they are a 4-bolt design, and costed a bunch less than MM. Not flaming MM, I know they make great products, but these just seemed more in my price range. My 2 cents.

yeah I am torn between the pro3i and the maximum motorsport. they seem like the best options to me. Is there a downside to the pro3i. if there is I will get the maximum motorsports $50 is not a huge deal.
