Hey guys, new to this so please forgive me if this has already been asked before.
I have a stock 2007 Mustang Gt that I just installed the following, C&L street intake and diablo predator C&L street tune 93 octane.

Has anyone else tried this combo on a other wise stock Mustang? What have een your experiences if so and what type of noise should this add to the engine, I currently hear and feel some deep thudding from the engine when I step on it. I am not sure if that is normal?

Thudding? I'm pretty sure I was thud free with that particular combo. I'm no expert but maybe detonation? Have you tried backing the tune down to 87?

The only noise it added for me was more of a wooshing/sucking noise as the car inhaled deeply.

Thanks

this may sound like a dumb question, but are you using 93 octane fuel? if so, the older gas in the tank may be a lesser grade. just a thought. give it a few days and see what happens.

I am currently using 91 octane and I am tuned to 91. I have not used any other octane since I purchased the car. The noise only comes in when I get on it and it feels or sound as if it is coming from under the center console.

Take the tune down to 87 and see if it changes it at all. Could be a bum tune maybe. I dunno, I'd talk to who you bought it from, that doesn't sound right at all.
