C-TEK Battery Charger / Tender

Bought one recently, just want to recommend it. My old man had a battery charger when I was young, huge crocodile clips, sheetmetal box with gauge that may or may not work, I was never sure that it actually did anything. C-TEK unit is small, simple to use, mine has a special setting for my Optima Red Top. I was able to hard wire a seperate harness from C-TEK that attaches to the two battery terminals and provides a simple LED readout of battery condition. I then just plug into the LED module with a wire the attaches to the tender, like charging a calculator. I use my Stang about once a week, after overnighting the battery with the tender the car definately starts better.
I would definately recommend one.

This stuff works. I have a Battery Tender on a New Castle battery, I had the battery about two years before taking this precaution. It's over 10 years old, now, and still works perfectly.

I`ve got a 2 bank battery tender on my boat charging 2 batteries at once, the batteries are 4 years old, they live on the battery tender ALL the time, and I`ve never had to add water to the batteries. I couldn`t be more impressed with this product.
