I have made my own CAI for my racer and I am not thrilled with it. Who makes one that will withstand the constant engine twist that comes from up and downshifting for hours during the course of a weekend? And on that subject, who makes good motor mounts? Mine last about 6 race weekends.

Chain that bad boy down

Maybe a solid mount is needed also

Chains and solid mounts are against the rules Pro-Hawk. Solid mounts lead to transmission failure in the stock trannys. Been there a few times with cracked bell housings and cracked cases. The 5 spds are real bad for developing cracks around the input shaft bearing area when you use solid mounts.

Who knew

In my line of racing we can use solid mounts and the higher classes are required to use them but that is open road racing.
