Just got back from Cali on the break in run of our new 06. Sadly, we just didn't have time to add the latest mods for these pics (taillight tint came in last night, rims were ordered about 10 minutes ago). We did stop by brothers performance and pic up a diablosport turner for the trip home (and some poly motor and tranny mounts for the Fox body), and we also checked out the new Saleen store featured in this months 5.0 Mustang.

Bad ass S7 inside, they also had a S281 Extreme cut in half. I was gonna buy some stuff, but the costs were a joke. I dropped a bill on shirts for the family, but I wasn't about to get parts for what they were asking.

We stayed in a town called Morro Bay for the first few days. Good seafood, and lots of time spent up in wine country. I loved the roads, great twisties and nice elevation changes.

The rock in the backround is el Moro, an extint volcano in the town's bay. you can drive right out to it from the town.

We headed up to wine country for some tasting. A couple hours in, you realize that you just couldn't drink like this all day long. The people were really cool who serve you. There was even this young kid who was all into hot rods, had his bottle's custom pin striped (dark star winery).

I'll get some other pics with the new mods up, but I doubt the backdrop will be as good. We finished up our trip last night watching the Red Wings (my home team) beat up the Kings at the staples center. All around, it was a damn good first anniversary vacation!

Awesome! I can't wait to do a road trip like that when I get the 'stang. How much did you lower it by?

Lowered with the FRPP kit... about an inch and a half.
