Currently have an extreme energy 262H dur 262-270 lift .493-.500. 351W .040 Edelbrock performer manifold and Rpm heads. Want to change to a more agressive cam like the XE274H. The heads should be OK right? Should new lifters be used also? also running a 2400-2600 stall converter.
The 1.90 heads should be OK, if you have 2.02 heads you may have clearance issues. You might wanna look at an RPM manifold to match, and maybe an RPM cam. Always change lifters with cams.
