You'll really be pushing it with stock valve springs because they don't like lift over .500. I think you'll be okay though, its a fairly mild cam compared to some out there.

Black93 - I think you'll be disappointed with the way it runs. It might have the cam sound at idle, but that cam and most off the shelf units are designed to be used with better flowing heads, intakes and exhaust systems. If you put them in a near stock set up, they really kill the bottom end of the engine - and usually for little if any gain on the top end. And, as pointed out above, they also overwhelm the stock valve springs. Get the rest of your mods ready to go before you put the cam in. RE: your other post - if you think yours lugs in 5th bad now - go ahead and put the Stage1 cam in a basically stock motor. Then you'll understand the meaning of the word "lug".

The Trick Flow 1 is slightly larger than a E-303. You will get the lumpy sound, but as indicated above, if you are running stock heads & intake it will hurt your performance right now.

1.7 Rockers

A set of 1.7 rockers might give you a little bit more of that cam "lope" that you are looking for. You'll probably need valve speings to do that too.
