Cam opinions?

Anybody use a Comp Cams Thumpr cam? If so, what is your opinion of it? I want to get one of the thumpr cams for my mustang and was wondering if i can use it with a Fuel Injected car? All of the cars i see with one have a carb.

I could be wrong but I think it's a whole lot more trouble than it's worth. I believe it has a 302 firing order where the FI cars have a 351 firing order. You'd have to change the firing order of the injectors to work and the O² sensors will forever be confused without reprogramming of the computer. It's a small base circle cam which means you're guaranteed to have to buy new pushrods. The dizzy gear on the cam is of the wrong material which means you'll have to change the dizzy gear on the distributor to match the cam.

The Ford Motorsports B cam seems to be the "fairgrounds" cam of choice among most 5.0 guys with basically stock engines.
